Blessed Easter

I thought of many posts I could write today. Many photos I could add. Many Scripture verses that would encourage and uplift you, dear readers.

But...

I am posting this instead.

http://aclj.org/iran/american-pastor-saeed-writes-easter-message-as-a-prisoner-in-the-darkness-of-iran?sf25232306=1

No frills. No fancy imbedded video. No edited text size, color, or font. Just a plain and simple link.

I encourage you to go read what this pastor has to say. This pastor who walks his faith every day - right into prison.

Have a blessed Easter!

Up, down, all around - Funtry Friday!

Yes. Out here it is important to look up (like in the trees) as well as look down (where the feet go) and look all around (where the feet might go). No, I am not planning on climbing trees - at least not the little ones I have - but, apparently, some others do consider them to be "climbing material".

It may be that this little bull snake really didn't want to be up in the tree, though. Sometimes life events just happen to create a cascade of exciting outcomes.

First, you start with watering the tree, then you add the neighbor's cat who appears to be chasing a bird in the tree...

Funny looking bird.

Then you add the wind...

Stir well, and you probably have a little bull snake who wishes there was a "do-over" in snake-dom.

It was pretty amazing to watch how well the snake managed the wind while winding around the branches.

And, no - I haven't seen this little three foot wonder since last watering day, but I am keeping a close watch out for any slithering!

Happy Funtry Friday!
Blessings,
Kathy

Palm Sunday

And most of the multitude spread their garments in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees, and spreading them in the road. And the multitudes going before Him, and those who followed after were crying out, saying,
"Hosanna to the Son of David;
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord;
Hosanna in the highest!"

And when He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying,
"Who is this?"

Matthew 21:8-10

And the sun set on the first Palm Sunday.

Today, as the sun set on another Palm Sunday, did you also wonder "Who is this?"
Just exactly who is this Jesus?

Matthew knew.

Reading a bit more of what Matthew had to say...
Blessings,
Kathy

Crickets...

Yes, I am still here! Just letting the crickets have their turn on the blog. ;-)

The weather has warmed up a bit - time to start watering since we have been so dry.

Love the way the water drops landed on the spider web! This is in my sister's garden - which she does water.

And the tulips are blooming at the post office!

The local garden club has quite a large space planted in front of the post office. It's always fun to see what new plants are there.

I don't have a garden planted, but I have been watering...

Hershey and Billie Jane appreciate the fresh water!

Both the horses have been frisky with the spring weather. Hershey still enjoys his visits over the back fence with Dakota.

They were so funny today that I grabbed my camera and went out to take a little video of the two of them.

Yeah... just like kids...

Hershey deserted poor Dakota and ran back to the front. I think he was making sure that Billie Jane didn't have anything special that he might have missed. LOL - nope it wasn't feeding time then.

Hmmm - but it is feeding time now! Hope you have a great Funtry Friday!

Blessings,
Kathy
